I’m finding it hard to come up with anything funny or lighthearted this week, with all the news of families being separated at the U.S. border. I love kids, I love families, I love capturing all those little moments in life that we can all relate to — no matter who we are, or where we are.

So instead of posting a new cartoon, I’m posting this one from several years ago. I did it with my friend Andrea, because kids are the best.

And they belong with their families.
