Oh my gosh, I can totally relate with cartoon #2. My 4-year-old had a preschool Christmas concert [his first one ever!] and I couldn’t see him at all for 90% of the performance because 1) I’m short and we were all sitting in church pews and 2) people were standing up to their child and recording the concert! I left feeling disappointed that I barely got to see my own kid in his first big event. What I did see was cute though and I was thinking of your cartoon about “different types of school concert performers” the whole time! A bunch of 3 and 4-year-old all singing and dancing to Christmas carols– it was chaos!
Personally, I think that recording school concerts and plays is disrespectful.

It’s OK, I don’t mind the comment in Spanish.

I looked up Sofia’s comment on Google translate. It was: “What a funny stern I laughed”
