Just so good

A cartoon about great albums.

This is obviously very subjective–everyone has their own musical taste. But when I asked my husband about this, the albums that we could think of right off the top of our heads were “Ten” by Pearl Jam, “It’s a Shame About Ray” by the Lemonheads, and “Celebrity Skin” by Hole. But there are so many more.

What albums would you suggest? Tell me so I can listen to more great music!

  1. Synchronicity by the Police—I listen to that and I can’t believe it’s not a Greatest Hits album–every song is so good.

  2. very subjective! Here’s some of mine:

    Rio – Duran Duran
    US – Peter Gabriel
    Kick – INXS
    Park Life – BLUR
    Violator – Depeche Mode
Mollusk or White Pepper – WEEN

  3. ‘Songs in the Key of Life’ by Stevie Wonder & ‘Guilty’ by Barbra Streisand-Featuring Barry Gibb. And I know that many people hated the Disco genre but I grew up listening to Disco, R&B, Pop, & Rock, & New Wave, so I would also recommend the Sound track from Saturday Night Fever. The Disco “sucks” era was so unfair because disco was fun harmless, dance music. People listened to disco and had fun, & felt happy.
