My 13-year-old always has her headphones on (she’s obsessed with the Broadway musical Hamilton), and I can’t be bothered to go fetch her, so here’s what I’ve started doing. Whatever works, right?

Adrienne, agree with your Hubby, it’s so ridiculous, but at least you have the cell phone connection to communicate with her, imagine if it were the old days with our 1980’s Walkman’s and Kate has the music blasting with the headphones on like we use to do….she wouldn’t hear you yell for her at all you would have to go find her…so in a way, the cell phone is a more versatile tool…it plays music and you can text/call to contact.
The walkman! Oh my gosh, yes!
Reminds of that movie RV with the Late Great Robin Williams…texting each other from different rooms of the same house.
Oh yes! Been there too! ; )
Can’t you text like a normal person? 😉
Lol! Love it. You’re right.
I’m supprised your teen even knows how to answer the phone if its not a txt message!!
