Lol! When my oldest was little she would always invent excuses to get out of bed. One unfailing excuse was “my finger hurts.” It got to the point where we’d say “nocturnal fingeritis” strikes again! (Wish we’d called it “digititis” instead…)

My favorite is when they are too sick to go to school…until you tell them they were off today. It’s a MIRACLE!!!!!
I find there’s a rapid recovery if I say “No school, no PlayStation…”
